Bournemouth Defender Marcos Senesi to Depart at Season’s End

Marcos Senesi, the 29-year-old center-back, is set to leave AFC Bournemouth following the termination of his contract at the end of this season, according to an official announcement from the club made on Friday. Senesi joined Bournemouth in 2022 from the Dutch club Feyenoord and has since made a remarkable 114 appearances in the Premier League.

During his tenure with Bournemouth, Senesi has been instrumental in the team’s success, particularly aiding in their impressive 16-match unbeaten streak in the league, and helping the team achieve 11 clean sheets this season. His contributions have been pivotal in solidifying Bournemouth’s defense.

Expressing his sentiments, Senesi remarked, “I’m proud of everything we achieved over the last four years and I’m grateful for the support the fans have always given me,” highlighting the strong bond he has forged with the club and its supporters.
