FC Nordsjaelland Secures Alexander Lind on Permanent Deal
In a significant move within the Danish Superliga, FC Nordsjaelland has finalized a four-year permanent contract for Alexander Lind, who previously joined the club on loan from Pisa. This transition marks a pivotal moment for the 23-year-old player, who made his impact felt during his loan spell last season, participating in 18 matches, netting six goals, and providing four assists.
Alexander Riget, the football director of FC Nordsjaelland, emphasized the importance of securing Lind’s contract early in the transfer window, stating that it was crucial for the player’s involvement in the upcoming season preparations. Riget expressed satisfaction with the outcome, saying, “We are very happy that we have succeeded in buying Alexander Lind from Pisa so early in the transfer window. After long and sometimes tough negotiations, we have now reached our goal.”
Lind himself conveyed his enthusiasm about continuing with FC Nordsjaelland, revealing that he had several alternative options but chose to remain where he felt he could flourish. “It is a fantastic environment to develop in. Even though I only managed to play in 18 games in the Superliga, I think I have become a better footballer here,” he remarked. The player expressed confidence in his ability to elevate his game further without injury setbacks, keen on a promising season ahead.
As FC Nordsjaelland gears up for the new Superliga season, they will kick off their campaign with an away match against AC Horsens scheduled for July 26.
