Denmark Unveils New Away Jersey Ahead of World Cup Qualification Playoffs
The Danish national football team has officially revealed its latest away jersey, which players will don for the first time if they successfully qualify for the World Cup qualification playoff final. This announcement comes just days before an important qualifying match against North Macedonia.
Described by the Danish Football Association (DBU) as “Clean, Modern, Danish,” the new away kit was launched four days ahead of the critical playoff against North Macedonia. Earlier in the week, Denmark also introduced a new home jersey, which will debut in the same match.
If Denmark triumphs over North Macedonia, they will advance to the playoff final, where they will face either the Republic of Ireland or the Czech Republic. Should they secure their place in the next round, players will showcase the freshly launched away kit during this significant encounter.
Interestingly, the design of the new jersey takes inspiration from the one worn by the Danish team in the early 1980s, a time when Denmark made history by qualifying for their first European Championship final tournament.
