FC Twente Dominates Dunajska Streda in UEFA Conference League Qualifiers
In a commanding display, FC Twente secured a spot in the UEFA Conference League play-offs with an impressive 6-0 victory over Slovakian side Dunajska Streda on Thursday evening. This outcome came just a week after the Eredivisie team faced elimination from the UEFA Europa League at the hands of Ferencvaros.
Following that setback, FC Twente’s manager, John van den Brom, made significant changes to the starting lineup, bringing in four new players: Max Bruns, Robin Propper, Daouda Weidmann, and Marko Pjaca. The substitutions saw Ruud Nijstad, Stav Lemkin, Thomas van den Belt, and Kristian Hlynsson take a seat on the bench.

FC Twente’s commanding performance in Enschede has put them in a favorable position as they look to solidify their place in the playoffs on August 13th.
