Ilves Secures Advancement in UEFA Conference League with Penalty Shootout Victory Over Stjarnan
In a pivotal match for the UEFA Conference League (UECL), Ilves emerged victorious through a tense penalty shootout against Stjarnan, following a 2-2 aggregate draw. After the initial match in Iceland, which ended in defeat for Ilves, they returned home to Tampere with the urgent need for a win.

The subsequent penalties were all scored without incident, leading to Kanga having the decisive opportunity to secure Ilves’ advancement. With composure, he converted the final penalty, sending Ilves into the next round where they will face Rijeka of Croatia.
