KARIM BENZEMA SCORES HAT-TRICK IN DREAM DEBUT FOR AL HILAL
Karim Benzema made a sensational start to his career with Al-Hilal, netting a hat-trick and providing an assist as the team triumphed over Al Okhdood with an impressive 6-0 scoreline. This match took place on Thursday, marking his first appearance for the Saudi Pro League leaders since joining the club just days earlier.
The 38-year-old forward had recently departed Al Ittihad, where he had signed a contract in 2023 after a long tenure of 14 years with Real Madrid. Despite the opportunity to extend his time with Al Ittihad, Benzema opted for Al-Hilal, seeking a fresh challenge in his illustrious career.
Benzema quickly established his presence on the pitch, opening the scoring with an exquisite back-heel shot after seizing a loose ball inside the penalty area just past the thirty-minute mark. He doubled Al-Hilal’s advantage shortly after halftime with a precise drive from close range, and just four minutes later, he completed his hat-trick with another quick strike.
In a display of teamwork, Benzema set up Malcom for Al-Hilal’s fourth goal before being substituted in the 71st minute, underlining his impactful debut with his new team.
In his post-match comments, Benzema expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance, stating, “It was an important game today.
