The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a significant change in its leadership, removing Shan Masood from his position as Test captain and reinstating Babar Azam ahead of the upcoming Test series against the West Indies and England. Shan Masood took over as the Test captain in November 2023, succeeding Babar Azam. However, his tenure was marked by a series of challenges, with the team experiencing a difficult run of form.
