Emre Mor Leads NEC Nijmegen to Historic UEFA Champions League Victory
In a thrilling encounter, Emre Mor starred in NEC Nijmegen’s memorable achievement by securing their very first UEFA Champions League victory. The match, which took place against the well-established Olympiacos, ended with a score of 2-1 after extra time, thanks to Mor’s decisive goal.
The context surrounding the match was charged, as NEC Nijmegen had anticipated greater things following their prior draw, 0-0, in Piraeus.
