Savinho Officially Joins Tottenham Hotspur from Manchester City in Record Transfer
In a groundbreaking move, Tottenham Hotspur has successfully signed Brazilian winger Savinho from Manchester City in a staggering transfer deal valued at approximately £75 million, which includes additional bonuses. This transfer marks a new high in the financial landscape of football, as it stands as a record sale for the Cityzens.
With the addition of Savinho, Tottenham continues to revamp its squad during a transformative summer, making him their seventh signing of the transfer window. The Brazilian follows in the footsteps of several notable recruits, including Andy Robertson, Marcos Senesi, Jan Paul van Hecke, Martin Dubravka, Mateus Fernandes, and Sandro Tonali, all of whom have joined Spurs as part of this extensive recruitment effort.

Reports indicate that Savinho’s former teammate at City, Omar Marmoush, may also be following him to Tottenham, as the club seeks to bolster its squad further under the stewardship of De Zerbi in his first complete season at the helm.
Additionally, Savinho has decided to revert to using the name Savio, which he was known by prior to his transfer to Manchester City in 2024, indicating a fresh start as he embarks on this new chapter in his career.
